Happy Belated Thanksgiving, everyone!
Had a great time in Florida with boyfriend and parents. Made a killer
stuffing, if I do say so myself. I just dropped 28 pounds on
Weight Watchers
(great
program!), so I was very happy that my mother (a fellow Weight Watcher)
was as interested in a calorie-conscious Thanksgiving dinner as I was.
I was particularly proud of my stuffing because it contained no butter
or oil or added fat. It had a ton of vegetables, lots of fresh herbs,
low-fat chicken sausage, raisins and apricots, and it was moistened
entirely with chicken broth and applesauce. YUM!
Now that I got that off my chest...
Just to follow up since the last newsflash, the State Farm industrial
was a BLAST! We played to amazingly appreciative audiences. In fact, I
may never again get laughs as big as the ones I got in Las Vegas. Can
you imagine 11,000 people all laughing at the same time? It's pretty
heady. Spending three weeks in Vegas was wild. I managed to eat at only
three
buffets the whole time. :-) And although I gambled quite often, I
escaped the city down a mere $60, which works
out to an "entertainment fee" of about $3 a day. Totally worth it. Only
saw one show while I was there:
Cirque
du Soleil's "O," which was great. Interesting note: I was
there
when
Roy
was attacked. It
hit the town pretty hard.
Since I've been back, the only acting work I've done has been
All My Children.
I've been
appearing in the recurring role of "Dr. Parker." People want to know if
I'm
good
or
evil,
and the answer is
neither.
It remains to be seen how
involved I will become in the storylines, but I'm having a great time
working on the show. My first episode aired on November 20th, and
upcoming dates that I think I will be on are: December 5th*, 15th,
19th*, and January 8th and 12th. The dates that are starred
are
the episodes in which I have more "interesting" material (translation:
more lines).
Hope you are all well and enjoying the Holiday Season!
XOXO
Jeff
